April 30, 2004 - Series HF protects multiple or high-power single RF transmitter applications where dc voltage is not required. Capable of handing up to 750 W, dc blocked filter features multi-strike capability and fully weatherized housing. Insertion loss is 0.1 dB or less. Suited for operating temperatures between -50 and +85°C, filter protectors are available with standard N and 7/16 DIN connectors.

High Power Filter Protectors Target Multiple or High Power Single RF Transmitter Applications

The recently introduced HF Series of combiner / high power filter protectors from PolyPhaser, a Smiths Interconnect company, protects multiple (combined) or high power single RF transmitter applications, where dc voltage is not required. Covering a frequency range from 100 up to 700MHz, the protectors offer the industry’s lowest throughput energy.

Capable of handling up to 750W, the advanced filter design of the HF Series features multi-strike capability fully weatherized housing and is dc Blocked. Insertion loss is very low at 0.1dB or less. Comprehensive testing has demonstrated low surge throughout measuring significantly less than 5 microJoules at 3 kiloAmperes (8/20 microsecond waveform).

The HF Series is designed for an operating temperature range between -50 up to +85 degrees Celsius and is available with standard N and 7/16 DIN connectors. Bulkhead or flange mounting is also catered for.
