Heat Exchangers have compact design.

April 29, 2004 - Able to withstand elevated pressures and temperatures, Brazepakā„¢ heat exchangers consist of brazed-plate units constructed using brazing process that bonds together 316 stainless steel plates with corrugated design. Brazing process also eliminates need for gasketed or rolled joints. Requiring no pressure-retaining parts, products are suited for refrigerant condensers and evaporators as well as oil coolers in engines and machinery.

Brazepakā„¢ Heat Exchangers Offer Efficient Performance in Compact Size

Buffalo, New York, April, 2004 ... Brazepak heat exchangers from ITT Standard are designed for applications requiring high performance in a small size. These brazed-plate units are compact, efficient and economical in a range of applications. They offer high thermal efficiency while withstanding high pressures and temperatures.

A special brazing process is used to bond together 316 stainless steel plates, which feature a corrugated design for maximum turbulation and high heat transfer in small surface area. Unlike traditional heat exchangers, no bulky pressure-retaining parts are needed. The brazing process also eliminates the need for gasketed or rolled joints commonly found in conventional units.

Because of its small size and ease of installation and operation, Brazepak is considered an excellent choice for refrigerant condensers and evaporators, as well as oil coolers in engines and machinery.

ITT Standard (http:\www.ittstandard.com) is a division of ITT Industries (http:\www.ittind.com) which is a leading worldwide-diversified manufacturing company with three primary business segments: Automotive, Defense & Electronics, and Fluid Technology. ITT Standard was the first U.S. manufacturer of heat exchangers to achieve ISO 9001 certification. A pioneer in the development of heat transfer technology, ITT Standard has been an industry leader for more than 75 years.
