Cuda Introduces Front-Load Parts Washer to Fit Most Automotive Parts

Cuda Cleaning Systems, a leading manufacturer of solvent-free parts washers since 1993, has introduced a front-load, automatic parts washer large enough to fit engine blocks and other automotive components.

The Cuda 2840 features a wash cabinet 40-inches high and a rotating turntable 28-inches wide. There are 17 models with varying configurations of electrical power, wetted surfaces made of stainless steel and rinse options.

As with all Cuda parts washers, the Cuda 2840 uses a vertical sealess pump, which has proven to be extremely reliable in the parts washer application due to its high tolerance of particles in the wash solution. The 3 hp (horsepower) sealess pump on the Cuda 2840 delivers cleaning power at a rate of 50 GPM (gallons per minute) and 45 PSI (pounds per square inch).

The Cuda parts washers are also distinguished by a roll-in, no-drip door for convenience in loading and unloading parts as well as significant savings in floor space.

The Cuda 2840 has a load capacity of 750 lbs. and features an easy-accessed, removable 20-mesh debris screen that prevents loose parts and heavy particles from entering the wash solution. This prevents pump damage or blockage.

All Cuda parts washers are ETL safety certified to UL and CSA specifications and are backed by a one-year parts and labor warranty when Cuda detergents are used. Cuda offers a broad selection of soaps that have been formulated specifically to work in aqueous parts washers.

Other features of the Cuda 2840 parts washer include:
Automatic low-water shutoff for added heating element and pump protection;
12-inch stainless steel disc oil skimmer;
Recessed base for easy access to the wash cabinet;
Retractable intermediate spray bar for putting the spray closer to the parts;
Easy access for cleaning the sump;
Convenient control panel, mounted at eye level, features on/off switch, low-water indicator light and timers for oil skimmer, heater and wash cycle;
Sloped tank with 1.5-inch drain pipe for easy disposing of dirty wash water.

Cuda, with an extensive line of top- and front-load automatic aqueous parts washers, has manufactured equipment since 1993 in its plant at Calumet, Michigan. The Cuda brand is part of C-Tech Industries and is supported by a network of more than 50 trained distributors throughout the U.S. and Canada.
