April 15, 2004 - Suited for outdoor applications, solid-state Trident Digital Panel Meter features NEMA 4X front with 4-digit, 0.56 in., 7-segment, sunlight-readable LED display that provides 8 levels of brightness for day or night viewing. Unit is calibrated to accept process voltage and current inputs, 100 ohm RTDs, and thermocouples. Universal power supply accepts 85–265 Vac or 90–260 Vdc, and software allows one meter's setup to be copied to another.

Digital Panel Meters Feature Sunlight Readable LED Displays
A new series of universal digital panel meters that feature user adjustable, sunlight readable LED displays for outdoor applications is being introduced by Precision Digital Corp. of Natick, Massachusetts.
The Trident Digital Panel Meter is a solid-state unit with a NEMA 4X front that features a 4-digit, 0.56" 7-segment sunlight readable LED display that provides eight levels of brightness for easy day- or night viewing. Ideal for environments with bright or inconsistent light, users can make LED brightness adjustments at the front panel, along with full function programmability which can also be done remotely using a computer.
Calibrated to accept process voltage and current inputs, 100 Ohm RTDs, and the four most common thermocouples, the Trident Digital Panel Meter is UL/C-UL and CE listed and has a shallow case which installs easily into a wide variety of standard enclosures. It has a universal power supply which accepts 85 to 265 VAC or 90 to 260 VDC (24 VDC optional) and software that saves time by allowing one meter's setup to be copied to another.
