Air Treatment System removes dust from print engines.
April 14, 2004 - Available for Infoprint® Color Printer Models 03D, 004, and 005, OmniVac internal air treatment system automatically removes toner dust from print engine and stores it in central filter. Unit consists of air collector connected to each cleaning unit and blower and filtering system. Air is removed from cleaning units, filtered, and blown back into print tower. Product helps reduce printer downtime associated with operator maintenance.

Overview
The OmniVac is an advanced internal air treatment system. OmniVac is designed to automatically remove toner dust from the print engine and store it in a central filter. The OmniVac unit can provide a high standard of print quality for longer periods than is possible today, and can help reduce the printer downtime associated with operator maintenance.

OmniVac
The OmniVac air treatment system is designed to automatically remove toner dust from the print engine. All new IBM 3170 Models 03D, 004, and 005 will ship with OmniVac included in the base machine. For previously installed IBM 3170 Models 03D, 004, and 005, OmniVac is an optional feature that can be installed in the field.
