360Training Launches OSHA Campus for Online Safety Training and Certification

AUSTIN, Texas, March 31, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) — 360Training today launched OSHACampus (www.OSHACampus.com) to deliver online safety training, certification and learning management for the occupational health and safety industry. OSHACampus was designed by e-Learning specialists and content experts at 360Training to promote workplace safety by delivering on-demand OSHA compliance and safety training courses.

OSHACampus course programs help employers and safety managers improve the availability of occupational health and safety knowledge. By leveraging the technology of 360Training, OSHACampus will also provide end-to-end learning management to measure workforce competency and compliance.

Safety training, while not mandatory by law in all states, significantly reduces the risk and liability of workplace hazards and helps employers implement preventative measures to avoid fines, minimize on-the-job injuries and fatalities. OSHACampus courses are provided at basic and advanced levels, including topics covering Fire Prevention, Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazardous Communications, HAWOPER and Forklift safety. Also available on OSHACampus are online instructor certification courses 500 and 501 for construction and general industry to permit trainers to teach various regulations and sub-parts of OSHA safety regulations.
