Ansoft Designer v2.0 - New Release Features Solver on Demand with Nexxim and Q3D Extractor to Provide the Most Complete RF/Mixed-Signal IC Design Solution Available Today
PITTSBURGH - March 22, 2004 - Ansoft Corporation (NASDAQ: ANST) today announced Ansoft Designer(tm) v2.0. This release expands Ansoft's Solver on Demand(tm) technology to include Nexxim(tm), for RF/mixed-signal circuit simulation, and Q3D Extractor(tm), for 3D quasi-static parasitic extraction, in addition to its existing HFSS(tm) dynamic link.

Synthesizer ICs are key building blocks of digital radios used within secured wireless communication networks. Designers of radio frequency (RF)/mixed-signal ICs, high-performance signal integrity and high-performance microwave and RF applications, require an automated design flow with the capacity to solve complex circuit topologies with large transistor counts and/or high spectral content, while addressing the underlying parasitic behavior. Availability:
