Ansoft Designer v2.0 - New Release Features Solver on Demand with Nexxim and Q3D Extractor to Provide the Most Complete RF/Mixed-Signal IC Design Solution Available TodayPITTSBURGH - March 22, 2004 - Ansoft Corporation (NASDAQ: ANST) today announced Ansoft Designer(tm) v2.0. This release expands Ansoft's Solver on Demand(tm) technology to include Nexxim(tm), for RF/mixed-signal circuit simulation, and Q3D Extractor(tm), for 3D quasi-static parasitic extraction, in addition to its existing HFSS(tm) dynamic link.

Availability:
Ansoft Designer v2 is presently in beta with commercial shipments beginning in the second quarter of calendar year 2004. The product will first ship on PCs running Windows(r) 2000 and XP followed by Sun Solaris(r) and Linux(r).
