New Low-Profile Telescoping Conveyor Brings Greater Mobility to Portable Market
MORRIS, MN – As producers continually seek greater mobility in the portable processing equipment sector, Superior Industries is offering a new low-profile model within its leading line of automated telescoping radial stacking conveyors. Now, portable plant operators can gain all the benefits of desegregated stockpiling while maximizing ease of setup, operation, teardown and transport. The new low-profile TeleStacker™ Conveyor features a loading hopper that fits directly under the crusher. Importantly, this eliminates the transfer or discharge conveyor that is normally retrofitted to most portable plants. Consequently, producers realize the following cost-saving benefits: 1) less equipment required for material transfer; 2) minimized number of loads in transport; 3) faster, easier relocation or in-pit moves; 4) reduced space requirements; and 5) decreased maintenance costs.
Key to its mobility, the Superior Industries’ TeleStacker conveyor offers the road portable option that includes Superior’s patented FD series axle assembly. Its hydraulically operated stacking wheels can be lowered into working position swiftly. The conveyor main frame can be raised and lowered while on the transport wheels, eliminating the need for expensive, high maintenance undercarriage compensation. With its totally enclosed hydraulic power travel package located on the stacking wheels, there is no need to connect or disconnect chain drives. Producers can simply lower the wheels to ready the unit for transport.
Additionally, TeleStacker conveyors can also be customized with different automation programs. The preferred Genius Automatic Control System allows the user to input the PLC parameters to control the power travel, the hydraulic raising and lowering of the undercarriage, and the telescoping in and out of the stinger.
