JLG Introduces Ultimate Personnel Lift

McConnellsburg, PA, March 25, 2004 — The all-new Model SSV10 store support vehicle from JLG Industries, Inc. has a working height of 16 ft. and is designed to be the ultimate personnel solution for reaching overhead areas. The self-propelled vertical lift has operator weight capacity to accommodate up to 350 lbs. with an additional 250 lbs. of cargo on the material tray. The heavy-duty material tray is mounted on a steel frame, which provides 25% more space than similar products.

Maintenance free components minimize service work and sealed, maintenance free batteries provide 25% more duty cycles. Re-charging the batteries is also improved with a high-efficiency charging system that is 50% faster than other lifts in its class.

The JLG Point & Go® joystick controls both steering and travel speed and can be used with one hand. The wheels feature non-marking tires and pivot 90° so the Model SSV10 has a zero turning radius for operation in confined areas.

Operator safety has been designed into the SSV10 and it meets all applicable ANSI and OSHA requirements including platform mid-rails, separate drive and elevation controls, and standard alarms.
