AnyDATA Corporation Announces New 3G EVDO and HSPA Modules

Modules enable High Speed Internet access for consumer electronic devices

IRVINE, Calif., March 25 -- AnyDATA Corporation, a global leader in the design and manufacture of wireless communications devices, announces the DTP-500D Rev A EVDO and DTP-600W HSPA mini PCI-E modules for mobile Internet devices and other wireless consumer electronics. AnyDATA 3G wireless modules are well-known for their small size and proven reliability in some of the best-selling mobile Internet devices.

The DTP-500D CDMA module operates on EVDO Rev A 800 and 1900 Mhz wireless networks. It features speeds up to 3.1 Mbps for the downlink and 1.8 Mbps for the uplink. The DTP-500D module is backwards compatible to CDMA 1x RTT networks. Features include GPS and AGPS location capabilities as well as a built-in TCP/IP stack and a standard USB 2.0 interface.

The DTP-600W HSPA module operates globally on tri-band UMTS 850/1900/2100 wireless networks as well as quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 networks. The module transmits data at a blazing 3.6 Mbps downlink and 384 kbps uplink.

Both new AnyDATA 3G modules utilize breakthrough single chip technology from Qualcomm. The modules enable fast Internet access for consumer devices and machine to machine (M2M) communications that require low price solutions.

"Our new 3G modules are enabling a new wave of Internet connected consumer electronic devices to quickly transmit video, pictures, and large files," said Dr. Soon B. Shin, CEO of AnyDATA. "We are excited to introduce these new broadband 3G modules that establish industry benchmarks for performance, size, and affordability. We're pleased to offer device manufacturers the choice of the latest broadband wireless technologies."

Both the DTP-500D and the DTP-600W use a standard mini PCI-E 52 pin interface for ease of integration in consumer electronic devices. By utilizing the same form factor and software compatibility for both modules, AnyDATA allows Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to serve both their CDMA and GSM-based customers without costly redesigns.

Engineering samples are available now for the DTP-500D and the DTP-600W modules. AnyDATA will showcase its 3G WCDMA modules as well as its new smartphones and LBS solutions at booth 750 in the upcoming CTIA conference in Las Vegas. For additional information, visit http://www.anydata.com/.
