MINNETONKA, Minn. (Oct. 13, 2009) - Digi International (NASDAQ: DGII) today introduced the Digi TransPort WR44, an all-in-one enterprise-class cellular router with integrated Wi-Fi access point. The multi-function Digi TransPort WR44 provides high-speed connectivity to remote devices by combining a 3G cellular router, state-of-the-art security, advanced routing, an Ethernet switch, global positioning system (GPS), telemetry and Wi-Fi access point all in one device. This unique combination of enterprise-class features and flexible wireless functionality makes the router ideal for connecting remote devices in vertical applications such as transportation, remote office and retail point-of-sale.

Enterprise-class protocols incorporate BGP, OSPF and VRRP+, a patented technology built upon the popular VRRP failover standard providing true auto sensing, auto failure and auto recovery of any line drop.
Digi TransPort WR44 is a multifunction router with flexibility for industry-specific device connectivity options.
