Eclipse Introduces High Velocity Burners for Preheated Combustion Air

Eclipse, Inc. has extended its ThermJet burner line with the addition of the ThermJet PCA burner for preheated combustion air operation. ThermJet PCA accepts preheated air in the temperature range of 1,000°F to achieve fuel savings of up to 50%. This nozzle-mix burner offers the highest operating velocity of any burner available for high temperature applications. It delivers precise temperature uniformity in an intense stream of hot gas, with velocities from 250 ft/s to 750 ft/s. When installed as a preheated combustion air system with Eclipse Externa-Therm and Cross Flow recuperators, the ThermJet PCA can deliver increased heat transfer and significantly improved fuel efficiency. The burner can be operated with any firing methodology, including on/off, pulse, time proportional, modulating or high/low. ThermJet PCA is available in fourteen sizes up to 20MM Btu/hr. and can be fired on natural gas, butane or propane.
