The patented BladeArmor™ coating is made from the same 3M material the military uses to protect aircraft parts such as the rotor blades on Sikorsky® BLACK HAWK helicopters. The new Stanley® 16’ Micro FatMax® tape rule is as functional as it is durable. Its dual material (rubber and high-impact plastic) casing is comfortable and easy to control. A heavy-duty spring within the casing gives it a smooth recoil. A top-forward blade locking mechanism makes it easier for the user to lock and unlock the blade. The innovative blade hook is fastened by three corrosion-resistant rivets and protected by an oversized bumper for increased durability and longevity.
