Affordable Low Differential Pressure Transmitters Feature High Sensitivity for OEM Applications
MILFORD, CT - New low differential pressure (DP) transmitters from Orange Research are designed as low cost alternatives for HVAC, wafer fab, pharmaceutical clean room, laboratory and hospital applications. The 20300 Series, which measures differential pressure in the range of 1.0 to 400 inches of H2O, is priced at $128/unit, list, and is intended for the OEM market.
Heart of the new low DP transmitters is a highly accurate inductive transducer design that delivers long-term stability and low hysteresis. The transducer uses a beryllium copper diaphragm coupled to an inductive pickup to measure very small changes in pressure.
The Orange Research family of low DP instruments extends measurement capabilities down to 0.04 inches of H2O and includes fully featured models with integrated LED digital displays, square-root extraction for flow measurement, pneumatic overload protection, and a variety of outputs. The family includes a highly accurate portable pressure calibrator to both generate pressure and calibrate sensors.
