New High-Performance Voltage Controlled Oscillators (VCOs) Introduced by Crystek Crystals

Fort Myers, FL, February 2004 - Crystek Crystals Corporation has introduced a new line of high-performance Voltage Controlled Oscillators (VCOs). The CVCO55BE-2974-3274 VCO will be offered in a 0.5"x 0.5" standard SMD package.

The CVCO55BE generates frequencies between 2.974 GHz and 3.274 GHz with a control voltage range of 0.5Vdc to 4.5Vdc. This VCO has Extremely Low Phase Noise perforrmance of -70 dBc/Hz at 1kHz offset, -98 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset, -120 dBc/Hz at 100kHz offset and -155 dBc/Hz at 10MHz offset. Input supply voltage of 5 Vdc consuming 17mA of current is required.

The VCO exhibits an output power of 5±3 dBm into a 50U load. It offers extended temperature operating range of -40°C to +85°C, with exceptional linearity over frequency and temperature
range. Second harmonic suppression is better than -20dBc while supply pushing is 1.5 MHz/V max.

Crystek VCOs are ideal for use in applications such as digital radio equipment, fixed wireless access, satellite communications systems, base stations, personal communications systems, portable radios, and test instruments.

Pricing for the CVCO55BE-2974-3274 VCO will start at $12.95 ea. in quantities of 1,000 pcs. For additional pricing details, contact Crystek Crystals Corp.
