Tone Generator triggers bells according to atomic time.

March 4, 2004 - Wireless Tone Generator receives time data from transmitter and produces scheduled tones in existing public-announcement or mechanical bell systems. It handles multiple schedules and up to 100 zones, providing managers with increased control over breaks and shift changes. Don't Stop Short of Full Synchronization

Innovative new device makes your bells ring when your clocks say they should

Lake Geneva, Wis.-In a manufacturing facility, synchronizing clocks is only half the battle. The new Wireless Tone Generator from Primex Wireless brings the same level of accuracy and reliability to your bells that the GPS Wireless Clock System brings to your clocks.

The Wireless Tone Generator receives time data from the transmitter and produces precisely scheduled tones in existing public-announcement (PA) or mechanical bell systems. Multiple schedules can be handled, and up to 100 zones. In a manufacturing setting, managers will have more control over breaks and shift changes occurring when they are supposed to.

Familiarity with the facility's PA system and local electrical codes is important for proper installation, and the Primex Wireless GPS receiver and transmitter must be up and running before the generator will work. The generator comes with scheduling software that loads quickly on a Windows-based PC, allowing the user to set up a precise schedule for the components of the system. After developing the schedule, the user simply downloads it from the PC to the transmitter. It's easy to make future schedule changes by following the same procedure.

The Tone Generator includes an antenna (mounted on top of the unit's housing), a power supply, and two separate cables for multiple connection purposes. The GPS Wireless Clock System must be installed before the Tone Generator will work.
