ATLANTA, January 12, 2004 – Indus International Inc. (NASDAQ: IINT), a leading provider of asset and customer management solutions, today announced availability of the next generation of its innovative Web-architected enterprise asset management (EAM) solution, InSite. Entitled InSite Extended Edition (EE)™, this newest release of InSite provides the most compelling solution available for organizations with complex asset management requirements who also desire the accessibility, ease-of-use and collaborative capabilities that only a Web-architected solution can offer. InSite EE was delivered as scheduled on December 31, 2003, and is now shipping to customers.
InSite EE delivers unmatched EAM capabilities by combining the powerful features of the Indus EMPAC™ solution with the innovative Web-based InSite platform architecture. The comprehensive feature set provides the industry's most scalable and flexible EAM system for complex asset-intensive enterprises. The Web-based platform and services-oriented architecture enables rapid, cost-effective implementation and flexible access across multiple departments, geographies and computing environments. Support for open communications standards facilitates real-time performance management (RPM) and push maintenance strategies -- enabling condition monitoring and analysis tools to push real-time asset information to InSite EE so that proactive action can be taken before assets fail.
