Fuji Electric announces FM-Approved PYL Limit Controller
December 3, 2003 – Fuji Electric’s new PYL Limit Controller meets the Factory Mutual Research Corporation’s stringent approval criteria for “temperature limit and supervisory switches”. The criteria for approval includes performance requirements, marking requirements, examination of manufacturing facilities, audit of quality assurance procedures, and a follow-up program.
The PYL Limit Controller can be configured either as a high-limit or a low-limit controller by the user. The PYL features universal input, a timer to clock the duration time the set-point has been exceeded, and a register to retain the maximum temperature reached. The two alarm outputs – retransmission output and communication function – are available as optional features.
Prices start at $189. As with all products purchased from TTI, Fuji Electric’s PYL Limit Controller comes with free technical support for the lifetime of the product.
