Introducing a New Line of Miller® Permanent Roof Anchors Designed for Residential and Commercial Construction

Smithfield, R.I. — (November 24, 2003) — To provide rooftop fall protection safety during residential and commercial construction, Miller Fall Protection introduces a new line of permanent roof anchors— Miller Claw, Miller Single D and Miller Double D Roof Anchors.
All Miller permanent roof anchors provide multiple-use applications, including new roof or shingle installation, gutter cleaning, window, skylight and chimney cleaning or repair, and general roof maintenance.
Miller Claw Permanent Roof Anchor
The new Miller Claw Permanent Roof Anchor provides one (1) permanent anchorage point when attached to a wood rafter or truss member (upright or inverted) during construction. The stainless steel Claw anchor accommodates any two-inch wide wood rafter and includes a special UV-resistant Santoprene flashing and protective vinyl cap for use when the Claw anchor is not in use. (For use by a single user, maximum 310 lbs.)
Miller Single D Permanent Roof Anchor
The new Miller Single D Permanent Roof Anchor provides one (1) D-ring anchorage point when securely installed on a wood roof sub-surface and finished with the selected roofing materials — only the D-ring is exposed for a quick, safe anchorage point. The Single D anchor can also be used on wood vertical wall applications. (For use by a single user, maximum 310 lbs.)
Miller Double D Permanent Roof Anchor
Similarly, the new Miller Double D Permanent Roof Anchor provides two (2) D-ring anchorage points when installed over a wood ridge peak and finished with the selected roofing materials only the D-rings are exposed for quick, safe anchorage points. (For use by a single user, maximum 310 lbs.)
The anchor models feature stainless steel construction, zinc-plated steel D-rings and galvanized steel nails that resist corrosion for a long service life.
All Miller Permanent Roof Anchorage Connectors meet OSHA 1926.502 requirements.
