November 6, 2003 - In-line Guard Screens have compact design that guards against blockages and damage caused by debris. They are manufactured in self-cleaning, non-blinding, stainless steel wedgewire in various screen diameters. Tema Isenmann's New In-Line Guard Screens Provide a Simple and Cost-Effective Solution to Debris Problems in Wet Screening Spray Systems

TEMA Isenmann's new In-line Guard Screens provide a simple and cost-effective solution to debris problems in wet screening spray systems. The screens' compact and heavy-duty design also guards against downtime due to blockages and damage caused by debris.

TEMA Isenmann's In-line Guard Screens are manufactured in self-cleaning, non-blinding stainless steel wedgewire and in a range of screen diameters to suit standard pipelines. The bolted flange design offers easy replacement of the internal screen cartridge.

The custom-designed screen apertures are designed to remove only unwanted sizes of debris, and the screens have a separate debris discharge outlet to remove unwanted particles from the process stream during equipment operation, while allowing the screened product to continue in the pipeline. All wetted parts are rubberlined for slurry applications, and water applications are epoxy painted.

With the low pressure drop across the screens, it is possible to retrofit them into most existing pipelines. Pressure indicators upstream and downstream for pressure drop calculations are offered as an optional feature. TEMA Isenmann also stocks a complete size range of quick-connect-type urethane spray nozzles for wet screening spray systems.
