November 6, 2003 - With capacity from 1 N to 250 kN, Autograph AG-IS Series testers offer integrated touch panel, PC control, or handheld Smart Controller options. Latter enables fine adjustments to specimen position and facilitates operation of crossbead and extensometer. Test speeds range from 0.00005–1,000 mm/min with sampling selectable from 1.25–5 msec. Test force measurement is within ±0.5% up to 1/500 of load cell capacity. Accessories include grips, extensometers, and jigs.

Comprehensive Lineup of Universal Testers

Shimadzu Scientific Instruments has introduced the Autograph AG-IS Series of Universal Testers. Ranging in capacity from 1N to 250kN, the totally redesigned AG-IS Series offers advanced features for precision, performance, ease of operation, and safety. Operation control options include an integrated touch panel, PC control, and the unique handheld Smart Controller, which enables fine adjustments to the specimen position and facilitates operation of the crossbead and automatic extensometer.

Shimadzu's AG-IS Series features test speeds ranging from 0.00005 to 1000mm/min with ultra high-speed sampling selectable from 1.25msec to 5msec. Guaranteed test force measurement for high-precision models is within +/- 0.5%, up to 1/500 of the load cell capacity. A variety of accessories, including grips, extensometers, and jigs, are available. Optional Windows®-compatible Trapezium software provides simplified user operation with Wizards and the industry's premier navigation system.
