Stafford Introduces Line of Low-Cost Hinge Collars

A new line of low-cost hinge shaft collars that can be placed anywhere on a shaft, have a smooth bore, and can be used with thin-wall tube is being introduced by Stafford Manufacturing Corp. of Wilmington, Massachusetts.

Stafford’s Standard Series Hinge Collars are offered in steel and stainless steel in 15 popular sizes from 3/8” to 2” I.D. Featuring a captive clamp screw, they can be placed anywhere on the shaft, have a smooth bore for protecting expensive shafts, and will not crush thin-wall tubing.

Designed to simplify assembly and field-service applications without sacrificing axial holding power, Stafford’s Standard Series Hinge Collars have triple-link hinges and eliminate the two separate collar halves and loose screws associated with conventional two-piece shaft collars.

Stafford’s Standard Series Hinge Collar in 1” I.D. steel is priced at $4.97 ea. (100 quantity) with OEM and distributor discounts available. Delivery is from stock.
