Service Network Announces Grinding Wheel Dressing System
Grinding machine manufacturer, Service Network, Inc, has announced the release of their new heavy-duty lift-up (HDLU) dressing system designed to be used as a replacement on the Heald CF internal grinding machines. The HDLU dresser is designed with a one-piece cast iron body and a large diameter pivot shaft with extra wide bearing spacing for maximum stiffness. This super stiff platform provides superior performance for dressing conventional grinding wheels or super abrasives. It dramatically improves the machines’ dress quality over the original OEM design. In addition, the unit has a precision keyed nosepiece that accepts virtually any type of dressing device including single point diamond, diamond form roll, rotary diamond disk, and rotary diamond cup. This allows for the quick changeover of peripheral devices without the need to change complete assemblies.
