New Windows Application for Easy Control of RGB Spectrum's SuperWall™ Multi-Screen Display SystemAugust 29, 2003, Alameda, CA - RGB Spectrum's leading-edge SuperWall™ display system has been enhanced with a new Windows-based software application, SuperWall Virtual Control Panel™ (VCP), which provides simple control of SuperWall's sophisticated video and data wall operations.
RGB Spectrum's advanced SuperWall™ processor displays multiple computer and video inputs across multiple screens in real time, with the fastest response time of any videowall processor on the market.
The SuperWall™ has been developed for sophisticated display applications where multiple graphics and video signals need to be displayed on multiple screens. The unique quality of the SuperWall is its ability to provide full, real time updates of all inputs, up to 80 fps, making the system an excellent solution for mission critical environments such as command centers, control rooms, communication hubs, and simulation systems. The SuperWall is a better alternative to traditional videowalls or infowalls that rely on large numbers of projectors or monitors. Instead, the SuperWall is optimized to provide a large number of signals on a small number of display devices, such as a 1 x 2 to 1 x 4 and 2 x 2 arrays. The SuperWall can display up to 12 video and computer inputs per projector, and offers excellent video quality with output resolutions up to 1600 x 1200 pixels. Computer signals, NTSC/PAL composite, S-Video, and component inputs are supported. SuperWall is the only videowall processor that displays inputs in real time with no degradation in update rate as more inputs are added. The SuperWall processor provides the fastest response time of any videowall processor on the market.
SuperWall VCP's intuitive graphical user interface provides easy operation of the processor's versatile display capabilities. SuperWall VCP seamlessly handles the movement of images on the projector array, in windows, full screen, or straddling screens. Using SuperWall VCP, all inputs can be independently positioned and scaled. Display alternatives include side-by-side, picture-in-picture, and overlapping images. Inputs can be cropped, stretched, and zoomed to emphasize areas of particular interest.
SuperWall VCP is also a useful programmers development tool for devising pre-set configurations and operating buttons for touch panels and other external controllers.
