Cygnal Offers Complete Solution for USB to UART Bridge in a Single Chip
AUSTIN, TX (September 22, 2003) – Cygnal Integrated Products, Inc. a manufacturer of mixed-signal integrated circuits, today announced availability of the CP2101 USB-to-UART Bridge Chip. The CP2101 provides USB 2.0 Full Speed to 921.6kBaud UART data transfer in a 5x5mm Micro-Lead Frame Package, with no external components required.

The CP2101EK Evaluation Kit, priced at $49, is a complete USB to RS-232 solution that includes a PCB (with schematics and BOM), cables, and royalty free Virtual COM Port device drivers.
