Vibration-Proof Plastic Fastener, an Industry First

“TineLok™†nut and bolt, self-locking, vibration-proof fasteners are now available in plastic materials, first of the type in the industry.

This exclusive entry delivers performance characteristics identical to its metal counterpart and offers the engineering community with alternative solutions such as non-corrosiveness, lighter weight and multi-patented performance that defeats loosening and eliminates vibration.

The new plastic version of the innovative “TineLok™†design is a one-way combination nut and bolt fastener which locks into position at preset intervals when the nut is counter rotated along the bolt thread. Non-clamp load dependent, the fastener exhibits greater reverse torque and endures Junker Shaker test cycles without loosening or vibrating.

Recently, “TineLok™†was awarded its 10th government patent for the system issued in the USA and Canada with patents pending from the UK, EU, China and Latin America.

Availability is in standard and custom sizes with application engineering services available.

Permanent Technologies, Inc. is the developer and manufacturer of TineLokâ„¢ fasteners, which was originally labeled “Permanentechâ€. For further details and complete information, visit our website at www.tinelok.com or contact us at info@permanentech.com.
