New Adept Cobra PLC600™ and Adept Cobra PLC800™ Robots Provide Simplified Integration with Direct Programming from Customer’s PLC
Livermore, California — September 2, 2003 – Adept Technology, Inc. The new robot family combines a high-performance SCARA robot with a PLC Server that allows direct programming of the robot from the Allen-Bradley family of PLCs (PLC-5, SLC-500, Logix family), through a DF-1 serial connection. The initial robots in the family will include the 4-axis SCARA Adept Cobra PLC600™ and the Adept Cobra PLC800™.
