Bellow Couplings feature zero backlash.

September 5, 2003 - Series BK2 Couplings have stainless steel bellow, which exhibits high torsional rigidity and can simultaneously compensate for axial, angular, and lateral misalignment. Shaft hubs are custom-bored on each side for shaft sizes from 0.38–3.13 in. with or without keyways. Sizes are available for torque capacities from 133–13,275 lb-in.

High-Precision Bellow Coupling Series BK2

Taking up the challenge for greater technical demands in modern machine design and construction, R+W has developed the BK2 series of Bellow Couplings.

These unique couplings are manufactured with a stainless steel bellow exhibiting very high torsional rigidity with zero backlash. The most important feature of this design is the fact that the bellow can compensate for axial, angular, and lateral
misalignment simultaneously.

The moment of inertia is also very low due to its low mass and low weight. The shaft hubs are custom bored on each side for shaft sizes from 10 to 80 mm (0.38 to 3.13 in.) with or without keyways.

Sizes are available for torque capacities ranging from 15 Nm (133 in. lbs) to 1,500Nm (13,275 in. lbs.).
