August 22, 2003 - Models 540 and 542 offer choice of 0.1% FS or 0.8% FS accuracy, and pressure ranges in gauge, sealed gauge, absolute, and differential datum from 15–10,000 psi. Psi ranges have 25–33 mV span output, while bar ranges have 30 mV ±1% span output. Model 540 with 17-4 PH Stainless Steel or Model 542 with Inconel® wetted parts are offered in 15–6,000 psi. Pressure ranges in 9,000 or 10,000 psi are available with Inconel® wetted parts only.

Setra Systems Introduces New Models 540/542 High Performance Pressure Transducer
Gauge, Sealed Gauge, Absolute, and Differential Pressure
Boxborough, Mass. -- Setra Systems, a leading designer and manufacturer of pressure measurement devices, announces the addition of Models 540 and 542 pressure transducers to its new line of sputtered thin film strain gauge pressure transducers. Ideal for submersible, industrial, or differential pressure measurement applications, these pressure transducers are offered in a wide variety of enclosures including submersible, high temperature, weatherproof, and an optional seawater version.
Using thin film technology, the Models 540/542 offers the user a choice of 0.1% full scale or 0.8% full scale accuracy, and pressure ranges in gauge, sealed gauge, absolute, and differential datum from 15psi up to 10,000 PSI (1 bar to 690 bar). (Differential datum is available in pressure measurement up to 300 psid, only.) PSI ranges have a 25mV to 33mV span output, bar ranges have a 30mV ±1% span output, and units in 30psi (2.5 bar) with Inconel® wetted parts have a 25mV ±1% span output.
Model 540 with 17-4 PH Stainless Steel or Model 542 with Inconel® wetted parts are available in 15 psi up to 6000 psi ranges (1 bar up to 400 bar). Pressure ranges in 9,000 or 10,000psi (600 and 690 bar) are available with Inconel® wetted parts only (ordered as Model 542).
Models 540 and Model 542 are offered with a choice of 10-6-Pin Bayonet Connector, Weatherproof Cable, or Molded Immersible Cable (immerisble up to 656 Ft.) for electrical termination.
Depending upon the electrical connection selected, when coupled with the Model 540/542 enclosure, which is fabricated in 321 SS, these models are rated for IP40, IP65, IP66 or IP68 operation.
