High acceleration power, sustaining long periods of usage, and adhering to strict safety standards are primary requirements for elevator gearbox technology – all of which are met with ZF-Ecolift Planetary Gearboxes.
ZF-Ecolift models RME 310 and RME 410 have been constructed for both passenger and service elevators. ZF-Ecolift benefits from the use of a two-stage planetary gear design to transmit power to the sheave rather than using worm gears, and fulfills elevator technical regulations TRA 200 and TRA 220-229 as well as the European elevator standard DIN EN 81. ZF-Ecolift Planetary Gearboxes are suitable for motor speeds of 1000 rpm, 1500 rpm (standard) and 3000 rpm. For frequency inverter applications, speed can be increased or decreased referencing the standard speed, which makes the use of multiple sheave sizes obsolete.
