Vaughan Adds Fiberglass and Steel Models to Blue Max™ Framing Hammers Line

HEBRON, IL -- Vaughan & Bushnell is adding solid steel and fiberglass models to its popular line of Blue Max™ High Performance Framing Hammers featuring the Head-Start™ magnetic nail-holding notch.

The Solid Steel Blue Max™ will include Vaughan's patented Shock-Blok™, a vibration-absorbing insert of hickory and laminated rubber in the hammer's head. The new Fiberglass Blue Max™ will feature a high impact overstrike guard and a shock-cushioning hollow core handle. The new hammers join Vaughan's Blue Max™ hickory-handled framing hammer, whose rugged features include an oversized striking face and a high polished, drop forged head, triple wedged to the hatchet style handle for secure bonding.

Both the fiberglass and sold steel models are offered in 19-ounce head weights with straight handles, while the hickory-handled, Blue Max comes in weights of 19 or 23 ounces and curved or straight handles. All include Vaughan's patented Head Start™ magnetic nail-holding notch capable of starting 16d and 20d nails.

Vaughan's complete line of Blue Max™ High Performance Framing Hammers is available at hardware stores, home centers and building supply outlets nationwide.
