July 8, 2003 - Silica SealTight™ sleeves, nuts, and ferrules solve problem of connecting capillary tubing to standard 10–32 coned ports intended for 1/16 in. OD tubing. Teflon FEP sleeves plus PEEK™ NanoTight™ nuts, and Tefzel ferrules provide sealing and can be finger tightened to hold 5,000 psi. Twelve color-coded IDs accommodate capillary ODs from 70 m to 1 mm.

Silica SealTight™ Sleeves and Kits

Upchurch Scientific’s recently expanded/upgraded Silica SealTight system of sleeves, nuts and ferrules solves the problem of connecting capillary tubing to standard 10-32 coned ports intended for 1/16” OD tubing. Our Teflon FEP sleeves plus PEEK™ NanoTight™ nuts and Tefzel ferrules offer excellent sealing and can be finger tightened to hold 5,000 psi (345 bar). The 12 color-coded IDs accommodate capillary ODs from 70m to 1mm.
