New, Inch-Series Aluminum Profiles from Bosch RexrothThe Linear Motion and Assembly Technologies business unit of Bosch Rexroth Corporation has introduced new robust, inch-based aluminum framing sizes.
Buchanan, MI—Bosch Rexroth has added 9 new, high-strength profiles with inch-based cross sections to its already extensive aluminum structural framing system. Ranging in size from 1” x 1” to a hefty 3”x 6”, the new profiles feature the familiar T-slotted design and large center bore to handle heavy loads and tough applications. The rugged profiles provide faster, flexible alternatives to welded steel in structural framing applications, as well as to competing inch-based profile systems. Extremely robust connectors and a wide range of accessories give users new choices in designing factory applications. The new profiles also feature the well-known Rexroth edge, providing for flush mounting of profile cover strips to create a smooth, finished surface.
The design characteristics of the new profiles are identical with those of the already established and proven metric profiles. The inch profiles complete the profile range, which now covers all conventional inch and metric profile cross sections available on the world market. FMSsoft, version 6.41, Rexroth’s parametric 3D design software, also includes the new profiles, as does the on-line framing shop at www.boschrexroth-us.com for convenient on-line ordering.
