Spring Pin eliminates orientation requirements.


June 11, 2003 - Double Reduced End Spring Coiled Pin is symmetrical, with reduced diameters at each end to eliminate need for orientation in assembly process. Pins are available in high carbon steel SAE 1070-1095/CS-70, chrome stainless steel SAE 51420, nickel stainless steel SAE 30302/30304, and alloy steel SAE 6150H with special materials available upon request. Components can be installed with hammer, arbor press, or other standard pin insertion device.

Spirol International Announces New Double Reduced End Coiled Spring Pins

DANIELSON, CT - Spirol International is proud to announce an addition to its offering of Coiled Spring Pins. The Double Reduced End Coiled Pin is a symmetrical pin with reduced diameters at each end. This eliminates the need for orientation in the assembly process.

These new pins are ideal when temporary alignment of two mating components is required. Double Reduced End pins are available in the same materials as SpirolŪ Standard spring pins, such as high carbon steel SAE 1070-1095/CS-70, chrome stainless steel SAE 51420, nickel stainless steel SAE 30302/30304 and alloy steel SAE 6150H with special materials available upon request.

As with regular coiled pins, these special components can be easily installed using a hammer, simple arbor press or any other standard pin insertion equipment.
