Clean and Protect Electrical and Electronic Circuits and Relays

Cortec® ElectriCorr® VpCI®-248 cleans and protects circuits and relays utilizing special solvents that meet EPA Regulations for Exempt, Low VOC materials. As a part of Cortec's Advanced Green Technology, the thermally stable and non-flammable ElectriCorr® is free of 1,1,1, - trichlorethane and other harmful solvents. It provides users with superior cleaning and protective performance with an environmentally friendly and sensible formulation.

ElectriCorr® VpCI-248 comes in an easy-to-use spray-on form that instantly protects electrical and electronic products from corrosion. It forms a fast drying, thin protective film that is effective against aggressive environments in industrial manufacturing as well as marine and tropical climates. Its unique blend of VpCI® inhibitors prevent galvanic corrosion normally found in electronic products using multi-metals, plastics, elastomers and other non-metallics. A few quick sprays with ElectriCorr® after product assembly provides up to 6 months of corrosion protection for electronics in sealed enclosures and housing.

For field application, ElectriCorr® provides the capabilities of an excellent non-flammable, solvent-based cleaner. For electrical and electronic parts in use in the field, ElectriCorr® quickly penetrates and displaces oils, grime and other contaminants due to its moisture displacing and film penetrating characteristics. Its powerful cleaning action can even be used as a defluxing agent. After contacting the metal, ElectriCorr®'s special VpCI's go into action to provide immediate corrosion protection.

ElectriCorr® VpCI®-248 offers multi-metal protection for products with copper, silver, aluminum, steel and nickel. It can be used for a variety of electrical and electronic systems including circuitry, contacts, relays, motors, generators and junction boxes. It does not alter electrical or magnetic properties.
