Part loading can be done offline while another large part is being machined on alternate pallet.

New Smaller and Larger Pallet Systems are Helping Improve Competitiveness for All Types of Machining Companies
To reduce labor and manufacturing cost per part, MIDACO has introduces new series of small automatic pallet systems for drill/tap centers, as well as, new larger pallet systems, now up to 120” x 40” (3048 mm x1016mm)
MIDACO CORPORATION, Elk Grove Village, Illinois USA, now offers the Series 15SD automatic pallet system. This compact model is designed to reduce manufacturing costs and increase the output of all CNC drill and tap centers and small vertical machining centers (VMC’S) including HAAS, FADAL, BROTHER, FANUC ROBODRILL, MIYANO, KITAMURA , LEADWELL, MILLTRONICS, HURCO and others.
Available with various pallet sizes, from 22” x 11” up to 28” x 15” (558mm x 279mm to 711mm x 381mm), the Series 15SD exchange pallets from about 8 seconds. Lift capacity per pallet is up to 500 lbs (227 kg) per pallet. Because all part loading and fixture set up can be performed offline on a pallet, while an alternate pallet is in the machine, both operator and machine productivity is maximized.
The Series 15SD is side-mounted keeping the front of the machine center operator accessible. After a load of parts is complete, the servo driven pallet transfer mechanism quickly removes the pallet from the machine envelope and the alternate pallet is then delivered into the machine in seconds. Dual air blast for chip removal offers reliable performance with .0001” (.0025 mm) repeatability accuracy.
Because job change over and part loading downtime are the biggest reasons a machine is idle, MIDACO pallet system are being added to existing and new machine to significantly reduce costs and increase profits. Utilizing a pallet changer allows all part loading and fixture set up to occur, outside the machines envelope, improving safety and profitability.
With a small 35” x 40” (889 x 1016 mm) footprint, the Series 15SD Pallet system requires minimal space making it easy to adapt to any machine. Fully enclosed guarding, including CE compliant interlocks, is available.
Easily field-retrofitted to ALL BRANDS new or existing machines, the Series 15SD only requires 230 volt, 1-phase electric power, compressed air and 2 M-functions for installation.
MIDACO’s Series 120 is now available with pallets up to 120” x 40” (3048 x 1016 mm) making them a profitable addition to dramatically productivity and safety at large machining centers. Part loading can be done safely offline while another large part is being machine on alternate pallet. A full line of new manual pallet changers up to 72” x 30” (1828 x 762 mm) are also available.
