The 7x lens system features adjustable focus and provides sharp and distortion free images. Clear acrylic base allows for light entry, enabling magnifier to be used in ambient room light. GEI announces the availability of the model ONS-0383 Telecentric
Collimating Measuring Magnifier. This magnifier is specifically
designed to prevent errors due to parallax when objects are
viewed and measured.
The custom optical system of the magnifier is different from a
standard magnifier in that a small opening at the focal point of
the lens system enables not only flat but also three dimensional
objects to be viewed and measured without errors due to parallax.
The 7x lens system is of adjustable focus and provides crisp,
sharp and distortion free images. Measurements as small as 0.0051" may be made with this magnifier in either inches or millimeters. A clear acrylic base allows for light entry, enabling the unit to be used in ambient room light. A flashlight attachment is available for use in low light areas.
The magnifier is compact and portable, measuring 1.4" x 3.3".
A leather storage and carrying case is supplied as standard.
The use of this magnifier in industrial inspection applications
will eliminate costly errors casued by parallax errors.
