Dimas Introduces Compact, Low-Profile FS 3100 D Saw
OLATHE, Kan. - Dimas introduces the FS 3100 D flat saw featuring a compact, low-profile design and powerful diesel engine to easily tackle a variety of projects from service work to full-depth patching.
Powered by a 31-horsepower Deutz diesel engine, the FS 3100 D boasts a compact overall width of only 30 5/8 inches and a low-profile height of 42 inches, enabling it to easily fit through a standard 36-inch door frame. An Eaton hydrostatic transmission provides infinitely variable travel speeds up to 220 feet per minute in both forward and reverse. Furthermore, the hydrostatic transmission enhances safety by providing dynamic braking.
An electro-hydraulic blade control equipped with positive depth stops ensures precise, accurate cutting. With a maximum blade capacity of 30 inches, the FS 3100 D is capable of sawing a cut up to 12 1/2 inches deep.
Ease of operation is ensured by the ergonomically designed operator's station. A single lever controls both forward and reverse travel as well as blade raise/lower functions. All gauges including voltage, oil pressure and tachometer are mounted within easy viewing of the operator. The tachometer includes a digital hour meter that allows for easy tracking of machine hours to maintain proper maintenance intervals and correct RPM usage levels, maximizing the life of both the engine and blade.
Designed for comfort and ease of operation, the FS 3100 D features adjustable handlebars and a keyless starter. An optional parking brake enhances safety by preventing saw movement when engaged. An emergency stop switch quickly shuts down the engine.
