May 14, 2003 - NanaWall consists of one glass wall framed in various materials from extruded aluminum and muntined wood to aluminum-clad wood frames. Every panel of product rides on hidden overhead track, and entire wall, or any portion of it, may be folded away. Hinged and unhinged panels stack neatly on either side of track, and units may be inward- or outward-opening or center-pivoted. Hinges and rollers ensure smooth operation, while single handle engages multiple latching points.

Newest Design Options Since the Window

Revolutionary "NanaWall" Allows for Glass Walls That Vanish as They Fold Open

MILL VALLEY, Calif., May 7, 2003-All of your residential clients who have staked their dreams on a site with magnificent vistas have a desire to take advantage of the view without compromising privacy, security, or structural integrity. Traditionally, the options available to architects and designers have been the same ones that have existed for centuries: walls, windows, and doors. Now, however, with the revolutionary NanaWall from NANA WALL SYSTEMS, INC., new home designs can easily blur the line that separates the structure from its surrounding space.

The NanaWall is a glass wall, framed in everything from modern extruded aluminum and traditional muntined wood to aluminum-clad wood frames. At first glance, the Nana Wall resembles a row of floor-to-ceiling windows, perhaps with a pair of French doors in the middle. But that's where the similarity ends, because every single panel of the NanaWall rides on a hidden overhead track, and the entire wall or any portion of it-can be easily folded away, opening up stunning vistas, as well as entirely new ideas in residential design. As such, they can enhance the function and beauty of every type of room from living rooms to balconies, decks, pool enclosures, and courtyards. In addition, they're ideal for numerous commercial applications.

The NanaWall panels stack neatly on either side of the track; hinged and unhinged panels are available and units may be inward- or outward-opening, or even center-pivoted. The patented hinges and rollers ensure smooth operation; a single handle engages multiple latching points for security. The units are available with Low-E glazing or laminated glass and all are weather resistant. The entire unit can be adjusted, long after installation, to compensate for structural settling, without the need for removing any of the panels.
