Rackmount Enclosure withstands shock and vibration.

May 13, 2003 - Housing 6 hot swappable, 3.5 in. drives and two 5.25 in. drives, 2U high PCI rackmount enclosure includes vertically mounted backplane that supports PICMG-based SBC and up to 4 full-length PCI boards. Its 320 W, ATX-style power supply provides +5, +3.3, +12, and -12 V outputs, while 2 fans blow cooling air through card cage. Construction includes reinforced corners, power supply hold-downs, flush-mounted LEDs, and completely secured cables.

One Stop Systems Introduces Rugged 2U PCI Rackmount Enclosure

May 2003, Escondido, CA - - One Stop Systems announces the introduction of its rugged 2U high PCI rackmount enclosure. The new rackmount enclosure has increased storage capacity housing up to six hot swappable 3.5" drives and two 5.25" drives. The vertically mounted backplane supports a PICMG-based single board computer and up to four full-length PCI boards. A 320-watt ATX-style power supply provides outputs of +5V, +3.3V, +12V, and -12V. Two fans blow cooling air through the card cage and out the rear of the enclosure. The 2U enclosure was specifically designed to meet requirements for rugged environments. Some features of its ruggedness include reinforced corners, power supply hold-downs, flush-mounted LEDs, and completely secured cables. Modular components like the removable 5.25" drive bay module and the removable board tray make this unit easy-to-use as well as rugged and durable.

The 2U passive backplane enclosure lists for $795. and is available immediately.
