LochinvarŽ Copper-FinŽ Car Wash Bay De-Icing Systems
Save on Energy, Space and Installation
LEBANON, Tenn. (March 26, 2003) - LochinvarŽ Corporation's Copper-FinŽ Car Wash Bay De-lcing Systems offer customers savings on energy, space and installation.
De-Icing package systems are easy to install because each system comes engineered and assembled, complete with all piping to meet your specific application. The circulating pump, air separator, charged expansion tank and all controls are mounted and wired for easy installation and connection to utilities. The space-saving design of the Copper-Fin leaves more space in the mechanical room, and the Multi-Stack frame allows two units in the footprint normally required for one.
The unique copper tube design uses a two-pass heat exchanger. Water is circulated through a row of highly efficient finned copper tubes, creating a scouring action that prevents sediment and lime scale build-up. The high heat transfer ratio of the finned copper tubing, combined with the high velocity water flow, offers a virtually instantaneous response to the demand for heat.
The gasketless design of the Copper-Fin De-icing system provides enhanced reliability, improved durability and optimal performance without the problems and failures found in O-rings and gaskets.
Custom Copper-Fin De-Icing systems are available with a wide range of additional features including low NOx operation, higher efficiency and direct venting. Direct Venting packages allow combustion air to be drawn directly from outside the building, eliminating the expense of installing louvers in the mechanical room.
