April 14, 2003 - X-plore products provide protection from hazardous compounds via face-seal. X-guided strap ensures even distribution of mask against face, and low-profile design provides unobstructed field of vision. Two-point Bayonet connection allows both filters to be attached to mask using same technique. Available X-plore masks include models 3300 and 3500 (hypoallergenic) half mask cartridge respirators and model 5500 full face mask with triple sealing edge.

Draeger Safety, Inc. Announces New "X-plore" Respirator Mask Series

March 31, 2003 - - Pittsburgh, PA - - Draeger Safety, Inc., located in Pittsburgh, PA, is pleased to introduce a series of X-plore masks and filter respirators offering the wearer new levels of comfort and protection from hazardous compounds. The lightweight masks use new materials and the new design provides for a uniquely comfortable face-seal. An X-guided strap ensures an even distribution of the mask against the face giving the wearer extra comfort, without unwanted pressure on the face or pulling of the hair. The compact, low-profile design of the X-plore mask series ensures a wide, unobstructed field of vision. A unique, two-point bayonet connection allows both filters to be attached to the mask using the same technique so the filters will always be placed correctly and quickly onto the mask. The X-plore half masks are available in both reusable and limited use styles. Three different sizes ensure that each user will find a mask to provide a safe and comfortable facial seal. The Draeger X-plore series of masks include two half-mask respirators and one full-mask respirator with NIOSH approved filters and cartridges to meet a wide range of industrial applications.

Draeger X-plore 3300- half mask cartridge respirator

The first half mask cartridge respirator is the Draeger X-plore 3300. This mask is ideal for limited use work environments. The soft yet durable materials provide a comfortable and secure seal for respiratory protection. The Flexi-Fit harness system is extremely comfortable when wearing head protection and will fit underneath a hardhat. To meet a wide range of industrial applications, Draeger offers a full line of NIOSH approved cartridges and filters with an exclusive two-point bayonet connector.

Draeger X-plore® 3500-half mask cartridge respirator

The second half mask cartridge respirator is the Draeger X-plore 3500. This mask is a NIOSH approved half mask cartridge respirator. The specially developed Draeger-Flex material is hypoallergenic, giving the wearer a soft and comfortable seal without skin irritation. The Flexi-Fit harness system is extremely comfortable when wearing head protection and will also easily fit underneath a hardhat. To meet a wide range of industrial applications, Draeger offers a full line of NIOSH approved cartridges and filters with an exclusive two-point bayonet connector

The third mask is the Draeger X-plore 5500 and it is a full face mask with an exclusive triple sealing edge meaning that there are three sizes in this one mask. The X-plore 5500 makes selection and use of this respirator much easier since any one can wear the same mask. The compact, low-profile design ensures a wide, unobstructed field of vision. To meet a wide range of industrial applications, Draeger offers a full line of NIOSH approved cartridges and filters with their exclusive two-point bayonet connector.
