St. Charles, MO - King Innovation(TM) has launched a new brand encompassing the company's complete line of waterproof, silicone-filled electrical connectors that were originated and patented by company CEO, L. Herbert King, Jr.
Called DryConn(TM) Waterproof Connectors, the new branding initiative includes King's logo, packaging, colors and the collection of attributes and characteristics customers attribute to King products, according to Deborah Hostetter, Vice President of Marketing, King Innovation.
"When Herb King invented the original silicone-filled connector, he raised the standard for quality and safety. We wanted to demonstrate these characteristics, which over the years have been built into the King brand.
That brand today is re-named DryConn," Hostetter says. "Our research found that product experience is likely to be the most important element in branding. In addition, our contractor customers have told us they perceive King electrical connectors as a dry, safe and reliable environment for electrical splices. DryConn Waterproof Connectors provide all that - plus, they're quick and easy to use."
The new name of the company that invented and patented the "One Step®", easy-twist filled connector is King Innovation, formerly known as King Safety Products.
