New Acid Neutralizer Helps Prevent Compressor Burnout!

Westbury, New York - Spectronics Corporation has introduced ACID-BUSTER™ acid neutralizing solution, a proven treatment for eliminating dangerous acid build-up that can cause compressor burnout in air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. This solution works effectively with all lubricants - mineral oil, polyol ester, and alkyl benzene - as well as with all refrigerants.

ACID-BUSTER is twice as concentrated as competitive acid neutralizing solutions. It is compatible with hermetic and semi-hermetic compressors, and eliminates the need to flush systems with solvents or similar products to remove excessive acid.

ACID-BUSTER is available in prefilled, calibrated cartridges (4 oz and 8 oz). It is added directly to AC&R systems with a BigEZ™ injector, so an oil pump is not needed. Technicians can inject the exact amount of solution to match the size of the system. ACID-BUSTER eliminates the need for costly oil changes to dilute the acid content of the refrigeration oil. It also helps prevent service callbacks to repair compressor failures caused by too much acid. The solution can be injected into a pressurized system while it is operating, so there is no downtime.

Since ACID-BUSTER remains safely in the system, it is ideal for preventive maintenance.
