Fairlawn, NJ, March 24, 2003 — CT5005 is a new cermet grade from Sandvik Coromant developed to produce high quality surfaces in turning operations. This new cermet is designed to be used in high speed, high production finishing applications with or without coolant. The uncoated grade provides a long lasting, sharp edge for excellent surface finish even in smeary materials, and facilitates close tolerances.
