Spring Loaded Positioning Element Available from J.W. Winco

Used as a detent, positioner, or for clamping with spring pressure, the positioning elements have a spring loaded nose that can be used for push-on or push-off operation. At the pulling end, the female thread will accept a pulling rod or an operating knob. The female thread type can be fitted with a special type and/or length of plunger nose. The spring loaded element can be screwed into a thread at the hexagon on the pulling end or the wrench flats at the pushing end of the plunger.

The positioning elements feature a steel, zinc-plated threaded body with either a blue or yellow passivated finish. The plunger pin and pin casing are hardened and blackened steel. Positioning elements are available with tapped holes, pointed nose, semi-spherical nose, or prism nose in standard or heavy spring load versions.
