March 5, 2003 - Suited for use with LDC-3926 16-Channel High Power Controller, 42 W Model LDC-3926339 Laser Diode Current Source Module is for development and production testing of EDFA and Raman amplifiers and high-power pump lasers. Module provides power output of up to 6 A at 7 V, constant current/power control, external modulation, and 4-wire forward voltage measurement. Laser diode protection features such as adjustable compliance voltage and hardware current limits are also included.

High Power Laser Diode Control Module

ILX Lightwave introduces the new high power 42 W LDC-3926339 Laser Diode Current Source Module for the LDC-3926 16-Channel High Power Controller. This new module is available for development and production testing of high power EDFA and Raman amplifiers, and higher power pump lasers used for laser pumping and optical amplification. This new module features higher power output--up to 6 Amps @ 7 Volts, constant current /constant power control, external modulation and four-wire forward voltage measurement. In addition, all of ILX's standard laser diode protection features including adjustable compliance voltage and hardware current limits are included.

The LDC-3926 16-Channel High Power Controller allows you your choice of new laser or TE control modules as well as all existing laser control modules from ILX's LDC-3916 Laser Diode Controller. The LDC-3926 has an intuitive front panel interface, fast GPIB/IEEE488.2 communications, extensive command set for fast thorough testing, high compliance voltage, and independent isolated channels.
