New Multi-Function Stackable Conveyors Allow Cost-Effective Eight-Units-In-One-Load Transport
MORRIS, MN. ā€“ Morris, Minn.-based Superior Industries, an Astec Company, announces its new Stackableā„¢ Conveyors, a design concept that allows the transport of up to eight conveyors in one load. Additionally, Stackable Conveyors are multi-functional and can perform as transfer, stacking or low-profile conveying units. Therefore, producers and contractors can significantly reduce freight expenses while gaining the advantage of accessing these conveyors in a variety of applications.
Stackable Conveyors are competitively priced units that offer a compact frame with conveyor components located inside the conveyor frame. Quality welds and an overall heavy-duty construction offer long-term reliability and a high resale value.
Three undercarriage options are available. First, with the addition of a kick-down support, Stackable Conveyors can be used as transfer conveyors at a 7-ft discharge height. Secondly, an axle undercarriage support allows use as stacking conveyors that can process material up to 500 TPH at an 18-degree incline. Also, with the addition of a low-profile bend option the conveyors can be used under discharge chutes with low headroom.
Options include 24ā€¯, 30ā€¯ and 36ā€¯ belt widths; 50-ft and 60-ft lengths; highway, electrical and hydraulic packages; belt scrapers, 5th wheel and tow hitches, pit or road portable axles, and more. All units offer a one-year warranty.
