OEM Coils Offers Comparable Performance with up to 50% Lower Price

January 10, 2003, Woburn, MA - Lytron, the Total Thermal Solutions™ company, proudly presents its OEM Coil Series of Copper Tube-Fin Heat Exchangers for the price sensitive customers who do not require the additional features of the premium 6000 Series. Single piece prices for OEM Coils range from $56 to $260, as much as a 50% lower price than the 6000 Series. Performance ranges from 20W/°C at ˝ gallon/minute for the smallest unit up to 250W/°C at 4 gallon/minute for the largest units. Compatible with ordinal water, EGW, and other common coolants, these coils are ideal for industrial applications.

To maintain the lowest cost while ensuring excellent performance, Lytron's OEM Coils use aluminum fin, and galvanized steel side rails and tube sheets. Tube spacing was increased (as compared to the 6000 Series) to balance the air and liquid side capacities. The result is fewer tubes per heat exchanger for a lower total cost-all without compromising performance.

Lytron incorporated over 40 years of manufacturing experience into the design of these extremely reliable, leak-free heat exchangers. OEM Coils use seamless copper tubing expanded into aluminum fins for an effective thermal connection. The liquid circuit is silver brazed and the finned tubes are assembled into a rugged galvanized steel frame. To further reduce cost the standard unit is unpainted but, if specified, the heat exchanger can be painted black. Finally, all units are pressure tested to 150 psi (10.3 bar) to ensure leak-free operation.

Six standard configurations are available with beaded, straight tube or 37° flare nut fluid connections. The air side pressure drop ranges from 0.06 inches of water up to 0.2 inches of water using Lytron's standard fans and the liquid side pressure drop ranges from 2 psi to 12.5 psi.

For orders of more than 100 units, OEM Coils are available in customer-specified lengths from 6 to 48 inches, with single or dual circuit tubing configurations of 5 to 16 tubes.

Lytron is the only Total Thermal Solutions™ provider that is ISO 9001 registered. ISO certification assures users that Lytron's liquid-cooling products are defect-free and able to provide years of reliable, leak-free service. For over forty years, Lytron has been well known in the industry for consistent high quality and on-time delivery.

Lytron designs, develops and manufactures high performance heat transfer systems and components. Its products include recirculating chillers, compact non-refrigerated cooling systems, aluminum oil coolers, copper tube-fin heat exchangers, stainless steel tube-fin heat exchangers, compact brazed-plate heat exchangers, and economical OEM coils.
