3500 Watt Water-to-Air Heat Exchanger, Model WW3500S

Haewa Corporation of Norcross, GA introduces its new 3500 watt water-to-air heat exchanger, model WW3500S, for cooling electronic and electrical control cabinets. With its dual top and bottom water connections, this heat exchanger is ideally suited for applications where cooling capacities up to 3500 watts are required and where space is of a premium.

Housed in a very compact 14.96" W x 47.24" H x 8.07" D enclosure, the WW3500S heat exchanger is designed for operation in extremely polluted and high temperature environments. Its unique design employs a high capacity fan that produces 259 cfm of air flow. This, coupled with a cooling water flow of 1.76 gpm/ 400 l/h at a temperature of 50° F / 10° C produces 3500 watts of cooling capacity when the temperature difference between water inlet and ambient is 25° K.

An external thermostat can be used for fan or external solenoid valve control. Normal operating parameters encompass temperatures as high as 167° F/ 75° C. There is no valve in the water circuit, permitting use in environments where clean cooling water is not available. The heat exchanger's interior baffle design precludes condensate from being sprayed into the control cabinet. Special foamed-in-place seals provide Nema 12/IP 55 protection.

Water in and out connections feature fittings with 3/8" internal threads at top and bottom for secure hose connections; 10 mm/ 0.39" dia drain connections are provided for condensate removal. The exterior and interior of the cabinet is finished in a tough epoxy-polyester textured powder coated finish, light beige, RAL 7032. WW3500S heat exchangers are UL and CE listed, and they are stocked as 115 V AC and 230V AC versions with other voltages available upon request.
